Getting our Gingerbread Cookies Dressed for Winter

by Sweet Flour on November 21, 2011

When she’s not busy putting scarves on our Gingerbread Men or mastering our array of Sweet Flour desserts, Erika’s up to her elbows – sometimes literally — in pastry dough in her Baking and Pastry Arts program over at George Brown College.  Hmm…a talented pastry chef in the Sweet Flour kitchen.  Will there be pies in Sweet Flour’s future? Farewell to Meaghan

by Sweet Flour on November 17, 2011

To our customers:

If you’ve ever bought one of our decorated cookies and admired the beautiful packaging, particularly the bow, that’s Meaghan.

If you’ve ever marveled at the deliciousness of your regular, non-fat, half decaf, almond milk latte, that’s Meaghan.

If you’ve ever left our Sweet Flour bakeshop in the morning and found yourself smiling, that’s Meaghan.

Meaghan has added her brilliance to Sweet Flour for a year now, and it’s time for her to shine in other places. She has been offered a position as a Mission Coordinator with an organization called CACHA (Canada Africa Community Health Alliance), and she will be moving on to Ottawa.  For anyone who has heard Meaghan’s passion when she speaks about this line of work, you know she will do great things.

So, to Meaghan:

We are grateful for all the ways that you have made Sweet Flour a better place.

Best of luck in your new and wonderful venture.
