We’ve survived another fabulous and hectic holiday season, in every way a team effort, and it’s a team led by Jennifer Binns, Sweet Flour’s head baker. At the end of this season, however, Jenn will be leaving us, so the time has come to say good bye.
If the kitchen is the soul of the home, then Jenn is the soul of Sweet Flour. She has delighted our customers with the brilliance of her baking, but it is the staff that has been fortunate enough to see her brilliance beyond. To us, Jenn is a leader, a baker, a barista, a businesswoman, and above all, a mentor. She has touched all of us with her patience and her passion in the kitchen. There is a touch of Jenn in all that is great about Sweet Flour, and what she has contributed to Sweet Flour is immeasurable.
To Jenn:
We are sad, but we know that your talent will continue to lead you to the most amazing of places. From all of us, customers to coworkers, we thank you for being amazing at what you do and for being you.

We know it’s family time this week so we’re excited to be bringing our monthly Story Time this Wednesday, December 28th from 11 am until 11:30. It’s a good way to get the whole family together to hear some fun holiday stories. …but inside was warm and filled with the yummy smells of cookies, and our favourite Sweet Flour families who braved the first snow of the season to join us for Story Time last Wednesday. Genevieve, our baker, had fun reading A Snowy Day on our snowy day, and Cole, Jacob, Spencer, Kate, Charlie, Alexa, Jordon, and Charlie were all ears. Keep an ear out for the details of our next Christmas Story Time, and thanks to everyone who came out last week!

November is on its way out which means it’s time to welcome in December. We’re getting excited about the holidays and we want to get our Sweet Flour families excited too!
