Thanks to our fabulous Bloor West Village neighbours two doors down at The Body Shop at 2366 Bloor St. West, who came in with some mango Body Butter samples and left with some dark chocolate and pistachio custom cookies (among other delicious combinations). Some of them were custom cookie newbies, but they whipped up cookie combos like pros. So to the six lovely ladies–thanks again for making Sweet Flour your favourite place to stop for a treat!

It’s almost February and to celebrate, we’re having our monthly Story Time this Wednesday, January 25 at 11 am. Since Valentine’s Day is around the corner, Genevieve, our Sweet Flour baker and top story teller, has promised to have some LOVE-ly treats and to read some LOVE-ly stories (but shh…don’t tell the kids!!)

Okay, okay…so maybe our pizza doesn’t come with cheese, but it comes with just about every other delectable topping you can imagine, and it’s twice as delicious. We start with a milk and white chocolate cookie dough “crust”, add a layer of chocolate frosting, sprinkle it with M&M’s, and finally drizzle it in caramel to give you cookie perfection. We sell it by the slice, but since everyone in the family will want one, you might want to call a
head and order a whole pizza!

Today was the big day for our Gingerbread House Decorating Party, and thanks to Naseem, Morgan, Michaela, Evelyn, and little Jacob, it was an awesome party. They turned icing, M&M’s, candy canes, and mints into ivy, pathways, window boxes, trees, and more. The houses looked g
reat – perhaps they all have a future in making beautiful treats for a certain bake shop one day!
